The first time I hear this song 3 yrs ago, driving home from work I remember thinking..I hope this never happens to me..It did a week later I lost my mom to heart disease, unexpected..I was my mom’s baby just like this song..I even remember teling my mom when I was 18 I was a man, she said no you will always be my baby boy….I still cry when I hear this song..it fits my mom and my relationship…Im 36 now but youll always need your mom no matter how old you are.

I never got along …
I never got along with my Mom when I was growing up. We fought all the time. I’m a recovering drug addict and I’ve been in and out of prison. I was awarded into state’s custody when I was 13 I was totally out of contro. I hated my Mom for many yrs. Just last yr she had a stroke and an anerism in her brain I have 4 siblings who all live out of state I was the only one who could take care of Mom. I thank god everyday for given me the chance to be there for her.SOBER I don’t hate her anymore

7 yrs ago my Mom passed away very suddenly, I barely cried or showed emotion. I’ve been a trucker for a number of years, the first time I heard this song I was doing 70 down the highway. The words touched something deep inside, I had to pull over and stop, and finally had that long needed breakdown of emotion, I spent the next 3 hrs bawling my eyes out, like a baby. Thanks for a great song that really touched something it needed to.
